The SAB mixed chorus arrangement of this anthem is designed to be very easy to learn. The last chord divides the sopranos and the men, but otherwise the arrangement is mostly unison and two- or three-part. This song is my unofficial contribution to the 2006 LDS Mutual (youth program) theme, "Arise and shine forth that thy light may be a standard for the nations." It probably won't contribute to memorization since it isn't a verbatim scriptural setting, but I hope the young people will enjoy it. |
