Dear Sally (if I may be so bold), I’m about your age and grew up in Springfield. I think Danny Ainge was in an institute I attended when I was an investigator. You recently were speaking at an event, Denv N Stake, and said that ‘Because He Lives’ was your personal testimony, in song. That must be why every time we have practiced and sung it for Easter, I am choked with tears and find it difficult to finish. I want to thank you so much for that song. It strengthens my testimony every time I hear it.

Years ago, when you first started this site, I wrote and asked if you were independently wealthy or crazy, to give away all of this beautiful music. You assured me it was the later.. Now that I am the ward choir director again, I am so glad that this craziness continues on. What a joy it is to coax this beautiful music from my lovely choir. Thank you, thank you for your wonderful talent and especially your willingness to share it with all.

I love your music. You get the words, melodies and musical arrangements just right. When I listen to your hymns, it takes me to another place – a peaceful one. With my headphones on, sitting on the train, watching the comings and goings of everyone, i catch myself gazing somewhat lovingly at the people around me – perhaps a tiny tiny glimpse of how our Saviour sees us.
