Lyrics
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin Mother and Child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace
Still, still, still,
weil’s Kindlein schlafen will!
Die Engel tun schön jubilieren,
Bei dem Kripplein musizieren.
Stille, stille, stille,
Weil’s Kindlein schlafen will.

Thank you for such an exquisite arrangement. I am so happy I came across your web page.
Lovely arrangement! The use of 2nds in the harmonies are particularly effective. I will use it before our services and your arrangement is also an excellent selection for our Christmas concerts.

Nice piece!! I’m trying to collect Sally Deford sheet music and I’m also trying to learn them… I have played and polished eight of your sheet music pieces… The arrangements are so wonderful, peaceful, pleasant to the ears and also free!! I used this arrangement on church as a prelude and accompaniment.. This is a perfect time of practicing some awesome sheet music during this pandemic…
Thank you Sally for sharing your talent to us, may God Bless you!!
Sally,
Thanks again for all your wonderful arrangements. I performed this in church today. It’s been months since a musical number in our ward, and I got so many great compliments on the beauty of the arrangement.
I love this. I am trying to learn this piece. With me, it’ll take lots & lots of practice. Thank you sooo much for sharing this beautiful arrangement.
Most beautiful arrangement of the two melodies, “Silent Night” and “Still, Still Still”. I’m thrilled to have these for the Christmas season.
Thank you
I wondered if you have some instrumental ensembles of Christmas music during this Covid season, when singing is a little more of a problem.
Sally,
I have found your arrangement of Silent Night/Still,Still,Still to be quite captivating. I have found your dissonant harmonies to give life and atmosphere to these 2 carols and your counter musical interplay a joy to listen to as well as play. Thank you for creating such a discovery to add to my musical holiday pleasures!
An absolutely gorgeous arrangement (more modern, like Mannheim Steamroller). Just beautiful and so fun to play– thank you SO much for making it and all of the other songs on your site available– I look forward to playing many more. You are so very talented and most generous!!!
Sally, I just wanted to thank you so, so much for all the beautiful music on this site! I played this particular piece two years ago for church and many people just loved it! Just thanks for all this beautiful music, so well set up to look and obtain so easily. YOU ROCK MY MUSICAL WORLD! Thanks!! Oh, and Merry Christmas!
This song give me the chills!!!
I’ve put the lyrics to this for SATB. It works very nice.
Could this piece that I love be made into a piano duet, I’m sure you could do it, having time is yet another issue I’m sure
!
I adapted this arrangement for a cello solo with piano accompaniment and played it for the Christmas Eve music before the evening service. People loved it. Thank you for such a beautiful arrangement. I hope to use more of your arrangements adapted for the cello in the same setting. I am looking at ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’ for next year.
I would love your arrangement with cello!
I love this arrangement of the songs. So beautiful and not too difficult. Thanks for sharing with us. 🙂
Would you be ok with me to insert the lyrics to make it a vocal/simple ensemble duet? I love the piano solo, and have performed it before, but would love to have the lyrics on top to help emphasize the beauty of the piece. Thank you for all of your talent and sharing it!
How do I download music from your site? Would love the piano music to Silent Night/Still, Still, Still
Just click the “Sheet Music” tab, then the PDF link. 🙂
Thank you for the sheer joy your music has brought to me, our family, and our Ward!
Absolutely beautiful and so very touching.
I love this piece!! I would love to see this made into a vocal duet. What do you think?
Such a beautiful piece. Thank you thank you so much for sharing freely on the net. I will be directing others to this site!
It was SUCH a blessing to find your amazing collection of music. I was searching for something for our smaller church for Christmas. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pieces.
Thank you for your beautiful arrangements that you so freely share. The choir I accompany has enjoyed performing your music often. We happened to meet your father one day, and in our conversation music came up. He is very proud of his daughter, and was pleased to know that we knew and appreciate your talent and generosity. You bring joy to all of us.
Oh, you met my dear old dad did you? Um… proud is rather an understatement. I hope he didn’t make you late to your next stop. 😉
Thanks so much for your kind comments!
This is BY FAR the prettiest version of these songs I have ever heard. It brings me to tears to listen to such beautiful music. Thank you!!!!
If you’re looking for a next project, it would be great to have Still, Still, Still written for a ward choir.
Thanks so much for your great music–our choir has used many of your pieces!
