About the Song
Jesus was a perfect man. He was tempted like you and I, and yet He was without one single errant thought or unkind deed. He was without sin.
Without sin.
Can you imagine your life without a single errant thought or an unkind deed? I can’t.
Scripture says that “the wages of sin is death.” I can’t imagine a day… an hour! …when I’m not subject to the “wages of sin.”
How thankful I am that we have an “advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” That every day of our life–while we are still sinners—Christ lived for us, and died for us, and lives for us still. That every joy and every hope is found in the gift of God’s own Son–in Christ and Christ alone.
The “Original” song below is more subdued and better suited to more subdued meetings. (Sorry—no recording.) If you want to sing the basic song, this is it.
