In September of 2021, my youngest granddaughter, Aerith, was born. Nearly two years later, her song is ready to post.
A little lamb went wandering…
A very simple song, about a very basic concept… and one of the more challenging things I’ve written.
“O ye that embark in the service of God, see that ye serve him with all your heart, might, mind and strength…”
Heavenly Father is never far away from us, and He will hear us pray anytime, anywhere.
My 2007 Christmas card carol, written for my first grandson, Damien.
Simple improv on the traditional Christmas carol, used to review Forte Notation software.
Oh remember how that baby came from God to be our King; ‘Twas for Him the star was gleaming and the angels came to sing.
I’ll be the kind of person that I know I’d like to be if I could see the Savior standing nigh, watching over me.
If I plant seeds of faith, of honor and truth, what a beautiful harvest I’ll reap.
He speaks to me in quiet ways that fill my soul with peace; And if listen with my heart, I hear the Savior’s voice.
I can give a greater gift than any earthly gem; For all my heart and all my love will be my gift to Him.
He knows His creations, where e’er they may be; Because He loves them so, I know He loves me.
A piano accompaniment written to fit Hymn # 301 in the LDS Hymnbook.
“And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.”
