When we do as Jesus taught, we are walking in His footsteps, and to walk in the footsteps of Christ is to stand in holy places, wherever we may be.
Jesus was born in an obscure town in a small land, without earthly fanfare. Quietly. And so the emphasis of this Christmas song rests on the word “quietly.”
Our Heavenly Father speaks to us in many different ways. As I took down the Christmas tree, He spoke to me through an ornament I had seen hundreds of times.
When Christ the Lord was born many wonderful things happened–most wonderful of all, God kept the promise He made before the world began: that He would send us a Savior.
