A New Christmas Carol and an Unexpected Helicopter Ride
My Christmas Carol for the year (and probably several more years after that) is called “Safe In Mary’s Arms.”
I am so thankful for James Loynes taking the time to do this one for me, back in the summer. I won’t be doing any more of my projects for quite some time. Here’s why.
Imagine… you are just siting down to watch an old movie and suddenly…
blank
just blank
what is going on?
mountains
I think
ER?
I think
yes ER
you’re alright hang tight
you’re alright hang tight
mountains again
this time from the air
in a helicopter?
I must be in a helicopter.
you’re alright hang tight
you’re alright
you’re…
It’s July
I think
I suffered a massive stroke
the docs snapped me back down to earth
at considerable expense and considerable inconvenience
But it is all wrong.
aphasia
apraxia
WHAT IS THIS???
a lot of other things my neurologist can identify
and I can’t
too many others
no handwriting
no texting
no typing
no spelling
no phone calls
no long forms in doctor offices
no piano
No. Piano.
sometimes no anything
my brain is okay
my brain is okay
my brain is okay
but
my language is confused
and I have to relearn it
all of it
like a child
This is stroke.
This is pretty much what the early stage of my recovery looks like.
It’s a very long haul.
There are a few things I need to tidy up over the next few months. I’ll post them when I can.
(A big thank you to my husband who is my typist and mind-reader.)

Thank you, Dear Sally, for sharing another absolutely breathtaking, tear-producing piece of music that has come from your incredibly creative and tender heart. This is so beautiful. What a frightening event to have happen to you. I am praying for your complete recovery and for you to continue to be inspired and make music. Bless you for your generosity in sharing your extraordinary talents with all of us. Not a season goes by without your music in it. Thank you so very much.
Sally— you can do this. May Heavenly Father be with you always. Your music, your own song, will pull you through as He wills it. I hope these words from a partial stranger (Wyatt Kondris’ daughter) help you this day. He always spoke highly of you. May you be blessed much. You blessed my father’s life with your friendship, and shared love of music; you bless mine with your music. Peace be with you.–Emily
Sally, when being strong is all we have, God gives us that strength. Prayers and best wishes from others who listen, sing and play your music are with you! Thank you for the music and giving it to me
We love all of your music. may the lord bless you with a speedy recovery.
Thinking and praying for you. You’ve written so many lovely words, I hope they bring strength and comfort as you work through the challenges of recovery.
Just getting to bed when I read this. I wish I had read ot sooner. Because I could start sending up prayers sooner. Just lost a very dear friend from a very massive stroke. Heal! I will pray..
Sally, thank you for sharing your incredible gifts with the world so freely and generously. Your music has touched so many lives- including mine-and continues to inspire even now. Wishing you healing, peace, and strength as you recover. You’ve given so much beauty to others; may that same kindness surround you in return.
Your music has blessed my life tremendously, and it amazes me that you just give it away. You are such an inspiration, and I pray that you will be blessed on your road to recovery!
Sally! I am now just learning about your stroke last summer. What a whirlwind experience you have been through. Please know of my love for you and my prayers for a total recovery. You have blessed me with your music and have taught me and mine OH! SO MUCH through your songs of the heart. Much Love and Many Prayers.
John Beenen
I am soooo sorry you have gone through a difficult time. I really understand it when people say, “If you have your health, you have everything!!!” I almost died and was in a coma for five weeks two years ago. Short term memory and tinitus But I am still here!!
It takes time to get better! Be patient for yourself.
I played yourChristmas piece Silent Night and Still Still Still last Christmas . Everyone loved it!!! I counted the number of notes and it was well over 1,000 Thanks
I’m so sorry to hear what you’re going through. I’m praying you’ll be able to recover a little bit each day.
Thank you so very much for your inspirational music over the years. You are an amazing composer. I love your melodies and harmonies. I especially love that you take into consideration where a singer will need to take a breath and you write the music to accommodate that! Brilliant 🩷
Linda McKinney
Dear Sally,
I am so sad to hear of this difficult health trial you have and are experiencing! There are no words to describe how very thankful I am for all the music you have written and given freely to everyone! I have been a choir director for over 30 years during my church service and have used so many of the beautiful pieces you have written. I especially LOVE “Peace on Earth” from last year, and this new one is also very beautiful. I have submitted your name to the Ogden, Utah temple and am praying for a full and lasting recovery for you. Know that you are loved and appreciated by thousands/millions of people around the world who have been blessed by your musical talent. May you feel the arms of the Savior around you constantly.
Dear Sally. I am so so sorry to read about your stroke. I pray for your healing. May you experience an even closer presence of our Lord through the Holy Spirit with you as you walk this path. Shalom blessings. David McDonald (in UK)
Dear Sally
I want to thank you for ALL of your beautiful music over the years. I wish I could hug you and tell you in person how much you and your music mean to me. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this health crisis. I’m grateful that you are mending. Ll keep you in my prayers.
Sincerely, Julie Pike
Oh my goodness! Sending massive prayers and love your way! Thank you for sharing your amazing talents.
Praying for you Sally. For your helpers and your Husband. For your physical AND your mental endurance and strength. Praying that healing is a part of the plan and the process. You have brought love and light to So many of Us. We now send it to you.
Sally – so sorry to hear of your health challenges. Hang in there. It takes time and work. My husband had a stroke in 2017 and worked hard to recover most of what the stroke took from him. Love your music and your willingness to share with all of us.
So sorry to hear of your health challenges! Prayers for a full and speedy recovery!
Love you, Sally and am praying for you.
I’m so sorry to see this! I pray you recover quickly ❤️
I am so very sorry about your stroke, but grateful you got help. I will be praying for you to recover fully, ane you will be sorely missed while you recover…You are my favorite composer!!
I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve suffered a stroke. I really enjoy singing your music and as choir director in my ward we have sung so many of your songs. I so appreciate you sharing your talents with us free of charge too. I will be praying for your recovery. 💕🙏🏻💕
So sorry to hear of your brain issues. Your sharing of your talents with the world has been such a gift! It has changed my life and allowed me to touch thousands of others, as a vocalist. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Oh I am so sorry to hear about what you are going through. You are so talented and what a gift that you share! This new piece is so beautiful and I downloaded it and felt that I needed to sing it right away. Thank you so much!
I’m so sorry you are going through this difficult challenge. I have loved your music through the years, and have shared it many times in various ward choirs I have had the opportunity to direct. Your music adds such light and life to any program. Thank you for sharing your talents (and doing so freely so that we have free access to the written music.) It is a legacy I hope you can continue—But don’t stress. Relax and take this time to rest and recoup. Enjoy the music of others for awhile, as things work to align themselves in your brain again. You will be in my prayers.
So sorry to hear this news. we have been so blessed because of your beautiful music.
our love and prayers are with you… Sylvia Pool
I empathize with your plight, having had a pretty massive stroke myself some 30+ years ago. For me, the gospel was a firm foundation, as I’m sure it is for you as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, always. Very beautiful new piece, and thank you for sharing your marvelous talents with us all.
Ohh Sally!!
So sorry to hear about your health issues! My love and prayers are with you. Thank you! Thank you!! From the bottom of my heart for all you’ve shared with us. I love your beautiful talents! I have sung or played so many of your beautiful compositions and arrangements. They have strengthened my testimony and brought me Joy. Thank you for the sweet new Christmas song!!
Wishing you a speedy recovery!!
Love,
Anne-a loyal friend
So sorry to hear of your massive stroke! You are so gifted and talented. I have enjoyed playing your music for years. I pray for you to have a speedy recovery!
Your music has moved and enriched the entire church and many others. Your songs have healed and steadied my troubled heart. This just stinks. Mortality often sucks. You’re being forced to put to the test what we often sing about but less often apply. The Lord will not abandon the vessel of his music. I trust his promises, and Holly and I have faith in you. May healing come swiftly in His wings.
I’m so sorry to hear of your stroke. For years I’ve admired you, and have been so appreciative of your selfless gift of music. And not just music, but inspiring and beautiful music. Thank you for this enormous contribution. I pray your recovery is speedy and complete, and will patiently await the beautiful Sally DeFord music yet to come. Much gratitude and well wishes for you and your family.
My heart goes out to you, deeply! How frustrating- this challenge calls for you to rise again. You will. One day and one step at a time I know you will heal. I have led many choirs over the years with your text and music. I have been comforted, inspired and led to His Spirit. I cannot express thanks enough for the gifts you have given to the world! May you receive all the blessings you deserve.
My dear, my heart is breaking. I am so sorry and I am so sad and I am so hopeful. Please do whatever you need to get better. My heart goes out to you and your family and prayer. Always prayer. Know you are loved.
Sally, your talent is phenomenal, & I’m SO thankful for your sharing that talent with me, all of us really. Your arrangements speak to me as a pianist, like we speak the same language musically. In fact, I’ve been sharing your arrangements with 2 grandsons that I’ve had the pleasure of teaching to play piano & organ; one is on a mission right now, & the other one turns 18 in March 2026. I’m SO heartsick that you’re challenged with such a severe health issue. My heart goes out to you & your family, & you’ll be in my prayers. My sister directs the choir in our ward, & I accompany the choir: we’ve included several of your arrangements as well as original pieces in our self-designed Christmas cantata for 2025. One of our favorites right now is “Shepherds Leave Your Sheep”. Thanks to you AND your family for sharing YOU with the world of music!
Great love to you and your family!!!!
You and your music are loved by all of us!!!!!
May Heavenly Father walk with you to recovery. So Many thanks for shared talent and music over the years.
Love and blessings for the joy and closeness to heavenly things you have given to me and those who have been
blessed to play and or sing your delightful thoughts and melodies, with their tender messages.
You are in my prayers and thoughts.
So sorry to hear about your stroke. I have been a ward choir director for many years and in four states. I love your music and we have sung it often and truly felt of your inspiration for each song. May God bless you in your recovery and bring peace to you and your family. Warm regards, Marilyn Lear
So sorry to read of your situation. I have enjoyed your music for many years. I will keep you in my prayers.
Dear, Dear Sally or Sister Deford (but I feel like you are Sally to me),
My heart broke this morning as I read about your recent medical emergency! As a mini stroke survior, I have a glimpse of your situation and your feelings. I have printed (in a big three ring binder; blue) everything you have ever written; my ward choir (accompanist) sings all of your works; Our Christmas offerings this year are exclusively “Sally Deford”. Though we have never met in person, I feel your heart and your soul through you heaven-inspired music and I feel God’s love for YOU as I play & sing that music. Thank you for listening to the Spirit and giving the world (free of charge) all of these beautiful, glorious, AWESOME renditions of love for our Savior, Jesus Christ. You will be in my prayers and your name will remain on the prayer roll of the Manti temple. May Father pour out blessings upon you & your family. With love & concern
Sweet prayers are with you in your next journey. So many of your songs have passed through my hands and I’ve sang them with joy. I’ll sing another will be this holiday season and all those listening will feel its power and love because of you!!
I pray for s as return to the things you love the most!!❤️
So sorry you are having to struggle with this life changing problem. I love you and your music. You have been and will remain a huge part of my life. I first was introduced to you in Liberty Stake when we sang your cantata. When we moved to Colorado Springs, there you were in my new Ward! I enjoyed many years singing each new cantata at Easter time. It has been such a privilege to associate with you and your family. Thank you for being so willing to share your talent freely with the world. May you receive God’s richest blessings as you struggle to recover.
Oh my goodness! This is heart-breaking news. I am a 73-year-old music lover, having sung in community and other choirs (including Millennial Choirs and Orchestra) for well over 35 years. I’ve also directed ward and stake choirs during much of that time and have loved using your arrangements on many occasions. BLESSINGS to you as you navigate this difficult battle. Please know you are loved and will be in many prayers.
PS – My email address is a result of my 16+ years of service directing music and handing out music to the MTC Choir.
I have said many time that your compositions and arrangements have greatly contributed to my solo and conducting career – for many years. Music that is as skillfully crafted as that of the top composers and arrangers who work for the major publishers. For that gift I am truly grateful. That your journey forward is going through the challenges of a stroke saddens me. I know there is much more in your mind and senses that needs to get past your limitations and see the light of day. I pray for you, your doctors, therapists, and support group to help you return to full function. My wife experienced a stroke over a year ago and she has recovered a large percentage of her former capabilities. Being part of her support group, I know it takes patience and dedication to bring back what is lost. I wish you the strength to preserver and I look forward to your return to the world you love. God bless you on the journey.
So sorry to hear of your stroke! Prayers starting for God to heal you. Don’t give up! My family members had strokes, worked hard and recovered. YOU have Blessed and touched so many lives! Thank you for your generosity in sharing your music with everyone!!
that is so sad Sally! I hope you can recover enough to function. God bless You!
So sorry for your health battle. I had a TGA so have some understanding of how frightening and confusing it must be. I am also a musician so no music, no piano, would be so hard. I will include you in my prayers. I hope and pray you make a full recovery and get back to the music you love. You are a blessing to the world with your music and generosity in sharing it all so readily. Cheshire and your dear husband and family xxx Love a fellow musician in Australia.
Love the new Christmas carol ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sally I am so very sorry to read about your stroke! I am and will pray for your speedy recovery and to feel our Savior’s love and peace, just so many of us have felt His love and peace through your beautiful music.
Much love from one of your music and lyrics fans.
I am so sorry to hear this. I pray for your full recovery. I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed your music over the years! You are SO talented and your arrangements are inspired. Bless you for sharing your music so freely. We will be praying for you.
I am so very sorry to hear your sad news. You are in my prayers.
Your music has always touched my heart and soul and lifted me from the burdens of life.
Please have your family play your music for you as you heal. Music heals. It really does. And now it is your turn to be healed by your own beautiful music.
Jim and I were sorry to hear about your stroke. We love you and will be praying for you and Dennis.
Oh, I am so sorry, Sally!!! This has to be so disorienting and confusing. My prayers of peace and perseverance are in your behalf. Complete healing with great Dr care is included! Sending our love!! Pat Whiteley, Cascade, Idaho
Oh Sally, my friend thru the world of music, I am so sorry for this confusing loss and burden and challenge. I’m thankful you’re with your helpmeet, and have hope for improvement. May other’s music bring music to you while you cannot quite get to making it yourself. Your music will be played so many times in the coming holiday (and non holiday) seasons. I remember you (and Holly) when our congregations/primaries play the songs written for your dear family members. My prayers to heaven for you and your helpers and family.
(PS what a beautiful illustration of how to write the confusion and share it. It is poetry of the confusion and makes sense of the not-sense.)
So very sorry to hear this, Sally. I love your music and wish you a full and speedy recovery.
I am devastated to hear of you medical challenge, my friend and music heroine. The last fw years have seen me fighting for my life several times in long stays in the ICU. My big challenges? Some unrecoverable organ and brain dysfunction, slow and tiny recover, yes, apraxia and aphasia. But I have experienced some profound miracles and more modest but much cherished tender mercies. I would love to share these with your husband in bthe hopes he might be willing to share these with you and that you might have just enough energy to hear them through his mouth. You have blessed my life contiuously . You are now firmly in my prayers…just as continually.
P.S. You both may enjoy a photo of my last helicopter trip via a recent Facebook post. Or provide an email and I can send a photo.
Love and deep gratitude for you and yours, and the testimony that fuels and informs your creative energies. And will, always.
— Kim Cooney, Int’l. Sacred Tenor
This is the beginning of a new journey, one we never plan to take but one that God will walk with us every step of the day. Holding you up in prayer.
You can do it! Good luck with your recovery.
Music will heal you.
Love from Wales, GB
Dear Sally, I was thrilled to see an email from you. Alas as I scrolled through there are hints you are not all that well. I”m so sorry.
I love your music and arrangements as I am also involved in Church music.
I pray your health will improve and thank God your husband is standing by your side supporting you.
May God continue to hold you in His loving embrace with His Mother Mary by your side.
Thank you for all the beautiful music you have given us over the years.
Love and prayers
Patrice Marshall
Thank you for all the beautiful music that invites the Spirit. You’re a blessing to so many! Prayers for your quick and complete recovery.
Thank you so much for continuing to share your amazing talent. We wish you continued recovery.
So sorry to hear this. God bless!
You are in my thoughts and prayers, talented lady!!
My heart goes out to you as I am sure there is a great deal of frustration when your mind and voice are struggling to connect. So many find so much love, peace and love through your music. You have blessed SO many. May the Lord bless you and you travel on this mortal journey, not always easy is it!
Sister Sally, you have blessed me and my family with your music. We will be praying for your recovery.
Prayers and hugs for recovery. You have gifted so much to others! Thank you, thank you, and may you feel our support and the support of angels as you focus on healing.
WOW!!!! Sounds serious!!! I just have to say “Safe in Mary’s Arms” is GORGEOUS!!! This is a piece we can wait with!
You’re young enough (I laughed too) that you shouldn’t have another stroke!! I was 58 when they kept telling me how young I was, but then I found out why. Most people who have a stroke before 70 almost never have another one!! So any recovery you make, you should keep!! My stroke wasn’t nearly as serious as yours, but after 2.5 years, I’m still sleeping 10 hours a night, still working half time, and doing about 1/10 of what I was doing before. I do think I’m about ready to direct the choir again for Christmas!! … and I just decided who will sing “Safe in Mary’s Arms!”
You have always been such an inspiration! I feel like I know you, even though I don’t. Your music is placing an imprint on the world that will continue far into the future! I’ll pray for you and can’t wait for you to “get back to normal” even if your new normal isn’t quite the same. They say it takes three years to fully recover from a stroke, so you have a long time to continue recovering!! Please post an update now and then … it’s obvious that MANY people want to know how you’re doing! … and bless you for sharing your talents and your gifts with sooo many for sooo long!!! THANK YOU!!!
Oh Sally, this saddens me greatly. Mark had that same helicopter ride nearly 13 years ago. His stroke was right hemisphere and did not affect his speech but he did lose his left limbs in mobility. I want you to know as his caregiver all these years, he was the most remarkable man I have ever met, even in his stroke (s). You will shine through your new normal and even more lives will be blessed by your presence. I know you will do all that the doctors and PT ask of you in order for you to heal. I will forever be grateful for all the beautiful music you have created!!!! Mark sharing one of your CDs with me when we were dating, brought him and I closer together as I figured if a man could share something so tender and so special with me, he had substance. As you know, I always tell people you were our matchmaker. I love you Sally. You got this! Your family will bless your life in ways you did not expect. Let them serve you.
OH MY GOSH, SALLY!!!!! Bless you, dear Sister. Angels had to have been watching over you. It is obvious it is not yet your time to leave us. . . and aren’t we all grateful. Take all the time you need – and more – to heal your body, mind, and soul.
I am also an ordinance worker in the DC Temple and will put your name on the prayer roll consistently now.
Sending much love & prayers!
Paula Bryant (Winchester, VA)
p.s. We finally had our groundbreaking ceremony for the Winchester Temple in August, and it is wonderful watching all the work going on. Our 2-hour drive to DC will be cut to 10 minutes!!!! Hallelujah!
Hopefully, you can still listen to music even if you cannot play it. My heart is heavy and I pray for a speedy recovery for you.
I am so sorry you are having to endure this trial. Your talents are so amazing. If you take a long time to be able to create something, so be it! You are in God’s hands. You will be in my prayers and I will put your name on the Richmond, Va. temple prayer roll. I’m an ordinance worker, so I’ll keep putting it in when I am there. I love you from a distance and always enjoy singing your hymns. My woman’s ensemble is singing “Immanuel, Immanuel” this Christmas. It is one of my favorites. Thank you for what you have done over the ages.
Prayers for you and your family. May God bless you during this illness and trial.
So sorry to hear of your medical concerns. Prayers for your recovery.
OMIGOSH!!! I am so sorry, Sally! I can’t even imagine how terrified you must have felt. I’m deeply grateful that you are still with us in this mortal existence. Please do your absolute best to get well. Everything else comes in their proper order. Your music has touched so many lives in many wonderful ways, most notably mine. That’s a legacy few people can lay claim to. Your website is the first place I look for music to fulfill a Sacrament or Stake Conference musical number. A million and one *Thank You’s* for all you’ve given to me and to the world, making it a brighter, more hopeful place to be. May God bless you in your recovery and return to your music!
You have blessed us with so much for many years. Take care of yourself! You will be back to share with us again!
I am a huge fan of yours. Your music had inspired me and comforted me. I’m sorry to hear about your stroke! Jesus listening can hear the songs you cannot sing, and you have earthly choirs all over the world singing the songs you composed and arranged. I love you!
I am so sorry to hear spiritual genius in you is quieted for a time. Prayers that you will heal, and many thanks for your gifts to the world
I”m so sorry for the experience you are having right now. You will be blessed because you have spent your life blessing all of us. God gave you an incredible talent and you have shared it so freely with all of us. Your music has changed our hearts. We love you and pray for you. All will be well,
You have blessed so many with your amazing gifts. May those blessings now be poured on you 100 fold! Such health scares and uphill healing battles can be so discouraging at times. Never forget what a treasure you are, and always will be. And thank you for letting us know what you’ve been dealing with so we can include you in our prayers.
Praying for a quick recovery. I will have all of the members of my Ward choir pray also, because we know that prayer works miracles. Many more will be praying for you also.
So, keep believing in miracles and prayer and you WILL have yours.
Sending healing prayers to you. God Bless You and may you recover swiftly.
You are a blessing. My family love all of your music.
I hope that recovery is swift and effective. Thanks for one more Christmas jewel. If Danny can recover from his heart attack, I am putting money on you doing the same!
Ross and Sheri Wille,
We love you! I know the Lord will help you through this. You have given so much of yourself, and He will bless you. Many prayers sent your way.
Oh Sally….I am saddened to hear this news. I have sung much of your work through the years and loved doing it all……..your gift has been so greatly appreciated by so many. You rest when you can and work hard with therapists when you need to. We will all be here at the ready, when you are ready. May God bless you!
You have blessed the world with your hands and music more than you will ever know. Thank you forever 💖
My heart is absolutely broken for you, Sally. The music you have freely given us over the years has truly brought me closer to our Savior than anything else. May you have a speedy recovery so you can once again begin to write, text, type, spell, call whoever you want, and most of all sit back down at your piano (but let’s leave off all the long forms at the doctor’s office, OK?) Know that there are thousands of us out here praying for you.
We are so sorry for you and the health problems you’ve experienced. We pray for your complete recovery. Your beautiful music has touched so many souls. Thank you for using the gifts God has given you to share His love to the world. God bless you and bless your sweet husband for being there for you.
Hello from the Huggards!
We are sorry to hear about your stroke, and pray for you as you rehabilitate. May God. Less you and those who help you through this process.
We think of you with fondness for all the music you have so graciously given, as an instrument in God’s hands.
Carma was also in Tabernacle. Hour when you visited once, and wishes she could have connected with you.
Thank you for the joy your music will continue to bring to so many.
With Love
Oh my I am so sad to read this. My dad had a very severe stroke aged 59. I empathise.
Huge hugs for you.
Be strong, give yourself time, lots of it. Your brain has had a big shock. Expect to be much more tired whilst it tries to cope and heal.
Probably your emotions will be all over the place too. Many prayers!
Do not give up on recovery. My dad was still relearning how to do things 10 years later. Not that I wish your recovery to take that long but just trying to encourage you that what you achieve now, or in 6 months or a year is not your limit. Keep pushing and striving.
Mandy xxx
I am SO SORRY. Prayers for your recovery. AND THANKS for all the beautiful music you have so freely given to so many for so long! God bless!

Keeping you in prayer as you recover and discover the new you emerging!
Nancy
Sally! You have helped me in my music journey so many times through the years. I mostly arrange music for my choir and some piano. Your music inspires me and makes me want to learn and be better at this craft! The Lord blesses us as we do it. You must get better because we need every piece of inspiration the Lord is willing to give you and your beautiful talent. My heart is drawn out in love for you and hope for a speedy recovery!
Oh Sally! I’m so sorry to hear this news. My prayers are with you for a speedy and full recovery.
Praying for a complete recovery. Sending love.
Sorry to hear of your stroke. Hoping for a quick recovery 🙏🏼
Blessings on you and your caregivers! It’s a struggle, but I know from your music how strong you are.
You have been a godsend to our music community. We’re using your music again this year. And I love Safe in Mary’s Arms! Is it too early to plan for next year? I think not!
Sally, 😢 You are amazing and have done SO much good through your music. Way more than you will ever know!! You have blessed my life and my kids’ lives through your generous contributions and remarkable talents. I will be praying for miracles on your behalf🙏
You will be in my daily prayers. Your music has been an inspiration on so many occasions. I have sung and directed so many of your pieces in church meetings. Thank you so much for your tremendous contributions. Best to you in your recovery.
Sally –
I am so saddened to hear about your stroke! I was introduced to your music by a friend a number of years ago, and I have always been in awe of your talent and ability to produce this music. May God give you the patience, strength and perseverance to relearn and continue in His service. As a dear friend told me many times in the past year (after a horrific car accident) “show yourself some grace” as you travel this new and different path!!
The new Christmas song is beautiful and so soothing like a lullaby. I kept thinking as I listened to it that I know that, even while you are on the difficult journey of recovery, Heavenly Father has you safe in the arms of His love. You and your family are in my prayers.
Sally. Prayers are with you. This weekend we will be burying a very gifted musician friend. Friends like that and like you are few and far between. We pray for your health and restore. What you have here is almost priceless. Do you know how much of your music that I have used?
