Romans 8 is a chapter full of hope and promise and rejoicing and I love it.
This is a page full of happiness.
These words came to me out of the blue one day recently, and after I managed to stop rewriting old songs (a really bad habit of mine) it came together quickly.
Celebrating what matters most–the promise of life found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The new music this time is a congregational accompaniment for the Easter hymn “He Is Risen.”
Here’s an early Christmas present: 2022’s Christmas carol, called “Night of Nights,” and a congregational accompaniment for “It Came Upon the Midnight Clear.”
Back in pre-historic times an arrangement of “Be Still, My Soul” appeared on this site. I intended to take a shot at it for SATB choir… which finally happened.
These two hymns started singing together in my head one day, and they haven’t stopped since; I can’t hear one without thinking of the other. 🙂
