New: Abide In Me, Oh Lord of Love
Sep 7, 2021
If I look for the image of God in each person I see, how differently will I see them? How will I treat them? How much more will I love them?
I was musing on those thoughts one day, and since everything turns into a song around here, this song was born:
That’s really all the story there is to this one–just pondering on those questions.
“Abide In Me, Oh Lord of Love” is available for Solo, Duet, SSA, and SATB.
As usual, thanks to James Loynes for his beautiful vocals.

That’s beautiful song and very inspiring .Thanks so much Sally
God bless you ….
oh wonderful! I was wondering what you use to record?
Thank you so much, Sally! Once more, as I read through the scores, I found me printing off 3 versions, i.e., solo, ssa and duet. Once again, with hope in my heart, I shall reach out within my ward for vocalists and bring the message to those whose hearts may be waiting for it! You have been an inspiration to me for a long time!
Sally – once again you have inspired me with such a beautiful and spiritual musical offering! I am indeed, one of your biggest fans. Thank you for the musical gifts you so freely offer!
That is a wonderful song with a marvelous message! Thanks! May you be blessed for the beauty you share!
Beautiful and so inspiring!,
Another beautiful song — thank you so much!!
I’m tired of hearing all your new songs sung in solo. You say they are available for SATB…how about recording it so we can hear it? I cannnot make a decision about a choral piece based on a solo.
Be kind! She offers them for free.
Please know that this is a place where all is given out of goodness from the heart and the tone of our messages are sometimes misunderstood in text form.
I believe Sally has already arranged this song in duet, SSA, and SATB. It might be easier to download and have your group read through it to see if it resonates for your use. I hope that helps and makes sense.
Stay well, stay safe, and stay kind.
Choirs are cool, but I sure wish I had a voice like the bloke singing the demos.
Somehow, I think you might just give him a run for his money. 😉
Aloha Brah … your vocal chops are so heavenly awesome. You’re an inspiration and one of my muses. Thanks for sharing your gifts.
He’s my favorite vocalist!
Don’t worry, a decent musical director will have a good idea what a choral arrangement will probably sound like, just by studying the score.
Ask your MD, I’m sure they’ll help.
That is another on of your classics! It is beautiful in thought, word, and music. I look forward to the opportunity to sing it myself.
Beautifully done. I love your muse, it resonates and provokes thought. Thanks for sharing how you got here. Much appreciated.
